Clinics

Antenatal Clinic

The Midwife works from the surgery Wednesday 9.00am - 1.30pm.  She is available by appointment only. 

 

Baby Clinic

Baby Immunisations are carried out by our Practice Nurse on Monday and Wednesday afternoon by appointment.  Appointments for these clinics are sent directly to you by the Child Health Team. Please let the surgery know if you are unable to attend your appointment.

 

Asthma Clinic

You will be called in by one of the surgery team for your annual review. Alternatively, telephone for appointment. This is run by the practice nurse in conjunction with the Doctors who are available for complicated cases.

 

Diabetic Clinic

A member of the team will call you when you annual review is due for your diabetes, however if you know you are due then please contact the surgery for an for appointment.

This is run by the practice nursing team in conjunction with the a Specialist Diabetic Nurse and the Doctors who are available for complicated cases.

 

Minor Surgery Clinic

The surgery offers minor surgery once monthly. Surgery is decided by your GP and you will be contacted by a member of the team to arrange for you to come in.  Dr Annas Hussein is our minor surgery GP. There may be a wait for an appointment in this clinic.

 

Travel Immunisations/Vaccinations

Please make an appointment at least six weeks in advance of your holiday to ensure we have adequate time to immunise you. A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS. A list of these charges is held at reception. See the practice nurse about vaccinations.

 

Flu Vaccination

An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and residential homes.

Please contact the reception staff late August/early September for details of the vaccination dates and to make an appointment. For housebound patients, a home visit will be arranged to undertake this facility. 

 

Chronic Disease Clinics

We have a duty of care to see patients who are on regular medication for Chronic Diseases. Patients on the clinical registers will be called by administrative staff by telephone/letter/text for monitoring with Doctors or Nurse.

 

Mental Wellbeing
We have a Psychological Health Practitioner who works at our surgery, appointments are arranged after referral from your GP or by referral yourself. They are able to help you and assist you with low level Mental Health advice.

 

Cervical Screening program

You will be sent a letter when your Cervical smears is due, these are carried out by the practice nurses. Please contact reception to arrange your appointment.
