GP Training

We are a training practice. This means you may be offered an appointment with one of our GP trainees, Foundation Doctors, Medical Students, trainee prescribing pharmacists or nurses.

GP Trainees

All the trainees are overseen by one of our GP Partners (Dr Khan and Dr Hussein). You may be asked if you are happy to have your consultation recorded. You have the right to refuse consent if you do not wish to be filmed.

Foundation Doctors

These are doctors who are doing their training both in the local hospitals and at the surgery.

Medical Students

We host medical students from Imperial College London and also students about to begin their education journey to become a doctor.

Students from Imperial College will have an extended consultation time with you and you may be reviewed by a senior doctor afterwards.

Other Trainees

The practice also hosts community pharmacists who are training to be able to prescribe medication within their usual chemist setting, and also nursing staff who are working towards various qualifications (Phlebotomist to a Health Care Assistant to a Nurse)

All of our training staff are overseen by senior members of the team to ensure your care is safe and appropriate. Most trainees will have extended appointments depending on how far through their training they are. Please do not be alarmed if you are seen by both a trainee and one of the usual practice team.
